Huge hair can often be used to resemble a persons insanity. This is one of my initial sketches for the hair design of Look 1 (clown). I really like the idea of having the middle slicked down to the scalp and then the rest frizzed out with huge body, volume and structure. Although, the only way to achieve this look would be to use a model with Afro hair or a wig. I feel this may begin to add a sense of comedy to the clown look which is often portray by children entertainers dressed as a clown, and is something I want to avoid.
